  About the Team

The Promise of Urban Agriculture courses were created by the Cornell University Small Farms Program, Rooted WI, Inc. (dba Rooted), the Cornell Cooperative Extension Harvest NY Urban Agriculture Team and the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Agricultural Marketing Service (USDA AMS). This was made possible by cooperative research agreement (20-TMMSD-NY-0005) with USDA AMS.

The course content is based upon the findings of the original research study as well as the experiences and opinions of the course instructors and featured farmers and planners. This content does not necessarily represent the official views of the USDA.
