Welcome!

We are so pleased to have you in the course and Community Mushroom Educator program. This page has all the critical details so please read it carefully!

The goal of the online portion of this program is to offer you a "crash course" in mushroom cultivation and get your basic questions answered - this is the "WHAT TO TEACH" portion of the class. For you to teach, you must first learn! Everyone is at a different point in this process, so help your fellow students out!

This course is the opportunity to get your basic questions answered about HOW TO GROW AND SELL mushrooms! When we gather in person, the focus will be entirely on how to efficiently teach others using the curriculum we have developed.

April 22 - 28 Week 1: Introduction & Mycology 101

April 29 - May 5 Week 2: Outdoor & Low Tech Cultivation Methods

May 6 - 12 Week 3: Indoor Methods of Cultivation

May 13 - 19 Week 4: The Business Side of Mushrooms

May 20 - 26 Week 5: Intro to Popular Education

May 27 - June 3 Week 6: CME Curriculum Prep

After the class we will be prepared for our in person trainings! Dates may need to be adjusted with the current COVID 19 situation.

Your Weekly Tasks:

1) Review the videos and printed material for the content area.

2) Attend LIVE or watch recording of scheduled webinars (if they occur).

3) Respond to prompts and ASK ANY QUESTIONS in the GOOGLE GROUP.

4) Complete and submit any required ACTIVITIES.
